The Birth of RLM
And we, with unveiled faces, all reflect the Lord's glory are being transformed into His likeness from ever increasing glory, which comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. 2 Cor 3:18
Reflective Life Ministries is made up of a team of ladies who have felt the call to serve the Lord. God gave Carla McDougal the vision of this ministry in 2005.
God brought the talents of Robin Murray to the surface as she was willing to share her gift of Skit Writing. Her retreat skits have brought many to tears of laughter, as well as reaching into the tender part of the soul.
As we were in need of pictures for website and publicity God brought the professional photographer, Melinda Trawick, our direction. Her eye for capturing the moment is a gift from the Lord.
As we began to grow we saw the need to focus our attention on exactly the direction God was moving us. To help us get a grasp on the vision and purpose for RLM, God brought Evelyn Hicks to fill these needs with her professional marketing expertise.
Before we knew it God moved RLM to become a non-profit 501c3 organization. Our partners have helped us accomplish God's purposes to further the Kingdom of God.
In the summer of 2008, Carla began to write her first Bible Study. She found herself in need help with the editing. As a result, the Lord brought Kitty Self to fill this gap! She is now the official Assistant for RLM.
The Bible study, Reflecting Him: Living for Jesus and Loving It! released in June of 2010 along with a Video series of Carla's lectures. We also have created the movie, Behind the Veil, as part of the video series. We have orginal music by Cindy Vinson called "An Invitation" available to enhance Reflecting Him.
We are a growing ministry team excited about serving the Lord together. A variety of mini-ministries have been birthed through RLM; such as, Share Fair, Reflecting Him in Prison, Open Door Retreat and more!
