FIRST LOVE Marriage Conference

The FIRST LOVE Marriage Conference is based on the fact that a nurtured spark produces a kindled flame, which ignites a fully engaged fire. Our marriages are like a carefully lit fire that must be maintained and fueled by prayer, love, and self-sacrifice. The movie First Love is shown on Friday evening to kick-start the event. First Love’s powerful biblical message is used throughout the three sessions on Saturday. 

Christian speakers, Fred and Carla McDougal, encourage couples to strive for a marriage filled with grace, love, and laughter. Their authentic style and inspiring biblical messages spur the listening audience to seek a marriage based on the solid rock––Jesus. These high school sweethearts, who’ve been married thirty years and raised four children, understand the bumps and twists in the marriage road. Through their journey together they have experienced God’s overflowing love, grace, and mercy, and God is using their story for His glory. They both attended Texas A&M University (Whoop!) where Fred received a master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and Carla earned a degree in Marketing. Fred works at Anadarko Petroleum Corp as an International Drilling Operations Manager. Award-winning author and international speaker, Carla McDougal, founded Reflective Life Ministries in 2008.
