Feeding The Frontline - Logo 6.png

Reflective Life Ministries and Salt Remedy have joined forces with a few Montgomery County TX local eateries and donors to form a group called FEEDING THE FRONTLINE - Providing meals and food for hospital ER and COVID-19 units.

As we navigate our way through uncertain times, the COVID-19 pandemic is having a drastic impact on our health, local business, global economy, and the way we live our daily lives.  Throughout the US, emergency room doctors, nurses, and medical staff are working double and triple shifts. Some are even sleeping at the hospitals because of the need to be on call 24 hours. As we help our healthcare heroes on the frontline, Reflective Life Ministries (a 501c3 non-profit organization) has set up a fund for donations called FEEDING THE FRONTLINE.

Your donations go to purchase meals to feed 30 hospital emergency room and COVID-19 medical personnel. Local restaurants like Pie in the Sky, Eden’s Cafe, Sweet Tea Catering, Blue Door, Frey’s Backyard Cafe, Peli Peli, McKenzie’s BBQ, and more deliver the food directly to hospitals. We have contact persons in place at each of the hospitals and restaurants.

FEEDING THE FRONTLINE paints a beautiful picture of community working together at such a critical time.  Not only will your donations help support our emergency healthcare workers, but they will also support locally owned restaurants in Montgomery County, Texas.  The three groups involved are donors, local restaurants, and our healthcare heroes.

Donations of any amount will help, as we will pool them together to provide meals for our healthcare heroes. Please share this opportunity with friends, churches, organizations, and others who are looking for ways to help during these unprecedented times. We will post updates on the FEEDING THE FRONTLINE Facebook page. Feel free to copy and share the link on your own social media and other means of communication.

NOTE: When you make your donation, we encourage you to share a message or prayer that can be passed on to the medical teams. Once you click to donate, there is a “Note” section. Please write FEEDING THE FRONTLINE and then add your prayer or message. All donations are tax-deductible.

 connecting the dots

The birth of “Feeding the Frontline”

An Amazing God Story that Happened in 72 Hours

Cassandra Mays, owner of Salt Remedy in The Woodlands, TX, first noticed that area hospital emergency rooms needed food and meals for their overworked nurses, doctors, and staff. A few of her friends were seeking ways to help these working. They pulled together enough money to have food for 26 delivered from an area restaurant to Herman Memorial Emergency room.

At the same time, RLM was seeking ways to help the small businesses in the community especially, the local restaurant owners hurting from the shutdown and moving to take out only. Carla McDougal, the founder of RLM, talked with Sandra How, owner of Pie in the Sky in Magnolia, TX, about building a team of local restaurants to deliver food to these emergency rooms. Immediately, Sandra was on board. After these three ladies prayed together over the phone, Sandra contacted the local hospital emergency rooms. Because Sandra is a pharmacist, owner of Triumph Pharmacy in Magnolia, she has contacts at the local hospitals. Another example of how God provided all they needed to get this going quickly! The next day, Pie in the Sky provided lunch for 30 at Conroe Regional Emergency Room Hospital. Then she /.provided food for the rest of the week to area emergency rooms. People started hearing about this new group and wanted to donate to help with the food. As a result, we added this website page for donations. This all happened in less than 72 hours! We are giving God the glory for how He has provided ways for us to serve Him through these very uncertain and trying times.

“A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

Ecclesiastes 4:20
