Our culture tells us we need an architect, a construction crew, a site supervisor, a decorating team and endless amounts of money. In truth, there is only one qualified carpenter for this inside job, Jesus. This retreat was a real joy for Carla to write and is full of God's great truths.

Each Phase is packed with humorous life experiences, as well as, the daily application of the scriptures studied. A special booklet is provided which follows each Episode for note taking, a section for personal time with the Lord, and a time for small groups discussion questions, which we call "Construction Crews". Throughout the retreat, we focus on the different aspects of the spiritual homes that God has planned for our lives. God is the Master Architect who has designed for each believer a solid spiritual foundation with Jesus as the chief cornerstone. The minute a person accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior, God immediately gives us the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to redecorate our inward homes with the Fruit of the Spirit. Finally, we talk about the process of maintaining and cleaning your "spiritual" homes. This is essential for a deeper and more intimate relationship with God.
